Ronny Ackermann won his second World Cup this season before the Finn Hannu Manninen and Austrian Felix Gottwald. Even after the jumping, the German was tied with the Austrian Christoph Bieler lead. In the track he did it constantly, and won with a start-finish victory.

Björn Kircheisen came just as it did in Kuusamo 7th place among the top ten. Georg Hettich was able to maintain its good seventh place after the jumping is not all, ending in 14th place Thorsten Schmitt was 24th and thus became even more World Cup points.

Trondheim Ski jumping World Cup competition also at the third this season is the winner again Janne Ahonen. The Finn won the competition before the Czech Jakub Janda and Austrian Andreas Widhoelzl.

Best German was once again Mr. Alexander. He finished second with jumps of 126.5 meters and 125.5 meters on the 10th Place. Georg Späth fell from 4 Rank after the first round to 13th Space back. Stephan Hocke showed two good jumps of 123,5 m and 121m and was thus ranked 17th Michael Uhrmann (21), Michael Neumayer (23) and Jörg Ritzerfeld (28) also reached the final.

Martin Schmitt and Maximilian Mechler did not make the leap to the final.

Andreas Goldberger was disqualified after a good first step, because it was too light 100g and was therefore bound to a long ski.
