Adam Malysz broke the winning streak of Janne Ahonen. The Pole won the diving with a new hill record ahead of Janne Ahonen from Finland. Third was George Spaeth, who had fought far from a jump of 135m and 10th in the first round with the longest jump of the second round of 141m to the front.
